Boravexti began in Flensburg, a quiet harbor town at the northern edge of Germany, right on the border with Denmark. It's not the first place people think of when they picture a cosmetics brand, but that's part of what shaped us. Flensburg has a long history as a trading town, and there's something in that heritage we wanted to carry into what we built here.
 
The idea for boravexti came together in the autumn of 2025, when our founder, Mick Christiansen, decided it was time to turn years of curiosity about beauty and skincare into something real. He'd spent a long time noticing the same problem in the cosmetics world: too many products promised too much and delivered too little, while the ones that actually worked were often buried under confusing labels or hard to find. Mick wanted to build something simpler. A store where every product earns its place, where the sourcing is thought through, and where customers don't have to guess what they're putting on their skin.
 
The company behind boravexti was officially registered at the start of 2026, but the real work started months earlier, with late nights researching suppliers, testing formulations, and figuring out what a small, honest cosmetics business from northern Germany could offer that the bigger names couldn't. What we landed on was simple. Care in the selection, transparency about ingredients, and a genuine relationship with the people who buy from us.
 
Today boravexti is still very much rooted in that original idea. We're based in Flensburg, close to the water, and we like to think that same sense of clarity you get from a coastal town, clean, direct, unpretentious, comes through in the way we choose and present our products. We're not trying to be everything to everyone. We're trying to be a cosmetics store you can trust, run by people who actually care whether what they sell works.

As boravexti grows, that's the part we don't want to lose. A small team, a clear purpose, and products chosen because they deserve to be on your shelf, not because they were the cheapest option available.
